All Video Converter is a Windows program that offers a competitive set of features, such as video streaming and support for most common file types.

When you download All Video Converter, you receive a Windows executable file that launches the setup wizard and guides you through the configuration. You can choose to associate All Video Converter with AVI, MP4, DVD, DivX and video CD files so that, when double-clicked, they automatically open All Video Converter. You can also open the program for the first time at the end of setup by clicking Finish. All the user reference material you need is accessible from the Help menu, which is conveniently embedded in the toolbar next to a link to the software maker's homepage. If you've used other video converters and downloaders, you will be familiar with the controls embedded in the interface.

To add videos to the converter, you can drag them to the window or click Add to open a file browser on your desktop. All Video Converter supports batch processing, so you can add multiple files to the converter and enable or disable their conversion by selecting a check box next to each file's name. In addition to the controls embedded in the toolbar, the menu bar includes extended features such as actions, preferences and importing and exporting options. To set up your persistent user preferences for future sessions, click the Preference menu and select User Preferences. This menu is where you can choose common file types and conversion options for your routine jobs, rather than selecting the same options for each session. Compared to other video converters, All Video Converter processes files at the same speed and offers the same features, preferences and options.

You can try All Video Converter before you buy it, but all your converted files will have a watermark superimposed over the video output. The software costs $29 to continue using after the trial period, at which point you may consider downloading a free video converter with the same features, a more up-to-date UI and support for newer operating systems. You really can't do anything useful with a watermarked video, and there's no way to remove the watermark. It's hard to imagine why anyone would pay $29 for a product that does exactly the same thing as countless other free programs. Of course, free software often comes with browser add-ons and adware that many users may want to avoid. The target users for All Video Converter seem to be casual computer users who don't mind paying for software to avoid seeing advertisements.

If you decide that All Video Converter is for you, then converting video with it is pretty easy. You can convert video from PAL to NTSC and download streaming WMV and ASF media using this program.
